We have gotten dozens of phone calls and e-mails about the Equifax hack that occurred recently, and its impact on consumers. In total, 143,000,000 Americans were impacted, including everyone with a credit report and not just paying customers of Equifax’s credit monitoring service.

As we learned when our client survey was completed recently, some of our clients are having some trouble with our new online reporting system. While we are actively shopping for solutions or alternatives, we also wanted to try to make the system easier to understand. As such, we filmed two videos with our associate advisor, Ashley Montague to demonstrate the systems.

April 17, 2017 - Honoring Holiday Traditions

Between Easter and Passover, many people around the world have been honoring holiday traditions this past week and weekend.  At BFG, we took Friday off to allow our employees a chance to spend time with their families, and it was a much needed respite just in time for the final day of the income tax season tomorrow.  Make sure to mail or transmit both your 2016 returns (and payments, if applicable) and your 1st quarter 2017 income tax estimates (if you pay estimated taxes) by the close of the business day tomorrow.
